Veracity becomes Purdue Research Park affiliate
December 12, 2011
NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Owners of small- and medium-sized businesses in and around the southern Indiana/northern Kentucky region soon may benefit from the technical expertise of an IT company that has become an affiliate of the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana.
Veracity Technologies LLC was founded by Jyll L. Stuart with a focus on how business owners can best use social media and local marketing opportunities. Stuart serves as president.
“Our goal is to deliver personal IT solutions for common business problems by deploying customizable and reusable technology components and frameworks,” Stuart said. “In 2010 we began developing a process to produce modular software components to help business owners manage their processes at a fraction of the cost of traditional business software.”
Stuart said Veracity Technology’s products and services are best suited for small- to medium-sized companies with business-to-business or business-to-consumer relationships and earn annual revenue of less than $15 million.
“Our extensive business analysis experience working with Fortune 500 companies gives us an advantage over companies that offer similar products and services,” Stuart said. “We have great depth of technical expertise, and we’re skilled in both enterprise and customer interaction experiences.”
Stuart explained why Veracity Technologies became an affiliate of the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana.
“Purdue University is one of the best engineering and technology schools in the United States. When my colleagues and I looked where we would benefit most by a mentoring relationship, the best choice was to become an affiliate here,” she said. “We’re fortunate to have a facility in southern Indiana that includes both highly skilled faculty and business development professionals.”
